Who is responsible

What this Site collects

• What you send me. If you email, call, or text, I receive what you choose to share — your address or number and the content of the message. That's the only personal information I actively collect.
• Hosting logs. The Site is served by GitHub Pages. GitHub may log visitor IP addresses for security and abuse prevention under its own privacy policy.
• Fonts. Typefaces load from Google Fonts. When they load, your browser discloses your IP address to Google under Google's privacy policy.
• One local flag. The Site stores a single value ("db-booted") in your browser's sessionStorage so the intro animation plays once per visit. It never leaves your device and is deleted when you close the tab. No tracking cookies are set by this Site.

How your information is used

To respond to you, scope and deliver services you ask about, keep normal business records, and meet legal obligations. That's it. No ad targeting, no lookalike audiences, no data brokers.

Calls & texts

If you text or call, replies come from me and only about what you raised. Message and data rates may apply through your carrier. Reply STOP to end texts at any time.

Sharing

I do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Information passes only through the service providers needed to run things: GitHub (hosting), Google (fonts), and email/phone carriers — each under their own terms. I may disclose information if the law genuinely requires it.

Retention

Correspondence is kept as long as it's useful for the business relationship or required for legal and accounting purposes, then deleted.

Your rights

Depending on where you live — including under the Oregon Consumer Privacy Act, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended, and similar laws — you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of sales or targeted advertising (nothing to opt out of here, but the right is yours). Email bannisterderik@gmail.com with the subject “Privacy request” and I'll respond within 45 days. I'll never treat you worse for exercising your rights. Global Privacy Control

The Site sets no trackers, so a GPC signal has nothing to switch off — you're already at the setting GPC asks for.

Children

The Site is a business site not directed to children under 13, and I don't knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child sent me personal information, email me and I'll delete it.

Security & where data lives

Correspondence lives in standard commercial email and phone services with reasonable safeguards. Processing happens in the United States. No transmission or storage method is 100% secure.

Changes
